Eddie Bush’s Calloused Hands Holds Top Spot on OurStage – Last Day to Vote is Today

Last week, Eddie Bush entered his song ‘Calloused Hands’ in a 10-day contest at OurStage.com.  The contest is sponsored by a major cable network that is “searching for the Next Big Thing in Country Music”.  “The cable television network is now casting the most amazing undiscovered vocal talent for an exciting new musical competition series,” and Eddie Bush fans believe that Eddie has the voice, Eddie has the passion, and Eddie has the edge to out-sing the competition!

The winner of the “New Country Artist” competition will fly to Nashville to audition in front of a panel of judges for the as-yet unannounced television program.  There is speculation that the TV program could be a revived Nashville Star that has not aired for two seasons, but at this point, it’s anyone’s guess.  Whether it’s Nashville Star or a talent search for brand new show, it’s an amazing opportunity for Eddie Bush to have a guaranteed audition for the program, as auditions for shows such as these frequently number in the tens of thousands.  It’s an opportunity that Eddie Bush is grabbing, and his supporters are rallying to make sure Eddie wins this competition!

Late in the day of the first day of competition, ‘Calloused Hands’ took the number one spot among hundreds of entries and country music artist hopefuls.  ‘Calloused Hands’ held firm at number one for 4 days, but early Monday morning slipped to second, then third, and fell all the way to number eight.  Eddie’s friends, family and long-time fans rallied and spent the day voting for Eddie, successfully bringing him back to first place in the competition, where he has since remained.

Voting for the competition ends at midnight ET on Thursday, January 20th, and all Eddie Bush fans have been asked to log in their votes for Calloused Hands on Thursday.  It’s not too late to get in one vote, as long as it’s in by midnight.  Instructions are listed below.

Every single vote for Eddie Bush is one step closer to seeing his dreams come true.  Here’s how to vote for Eddie Bush as the New Country Artist on OurStage.com.

1. Go to www.EddieBush.com
2. Click on the black & pink OurStage ad on the right hand side of the page that says Join the Pandora of Indie Music.
3. That will take you to the registration page on OurStage.com.
4. Create an OurStage profile — you don’t need to fill out a lot of information, just the necessary info to register.
5. You will receive and email to confirm your registration, so click that link and your registration will be verified.
6. Once you are back in the OurStage page, after you’ve registered and verified, Login.  The Login icon is in the top right hand side of the page.
7. Once you login, click this link http://www.ourstage.com/profile/eddiebush, or type in Eddie Bush in the search box at the top right hand of the screen next to login.
8. Now you’ll be on Eddie’s profile page. 
9. On the OVERVIEW tab, on the right hand side of the page, it should say Make this Artist your favorite.  Make sure you select that, or type in Eddie Bush.  THIS IS IMPORTANT
10.  It should now say "Favorite Artist,Currently you have Eddie Bush set as your favorite artist".

11.Look for the tab that says Songs and click that. 
12. You will see Calloused Hands first. 
13. Click the green or yellow link next to calloused hands that says "Country Artist Search".
14. That brings you to two tabs – one says Standings, and one says Judging.
15. Click on the Judging tab
16. You will now be able to see 4 songs that you can listen to and vote on. You have to listen to 15 seconds of each song before you can vote.  Place them in the order from worst to best and then lock in your vote.

Eddie should come up within your first 20 battles, as long as you made him your favorite artist.
